Christmas Dream

Hi everyone!...

I tried to go for warm tones and that feeling you have about Christmas when you're a little girl and still believe angels are what makes Christmas trees so beautiful and full of glowing magic...

As always, I dearly wished I had a tablet and Photoshop for this, but GIMP is a wonderful program, too, I suppose, especially when you can't dig around $1000 out from between the couch cushions...lol. This pic took around 50-60 layers (one for each light - I cut the string apart into individual pieces - and then some). I'm pretty happy with the outcome. Hope you like it, too!
